Material: Parchment.
Foliation: ff (ii) + 253 + (i) + 254. ff i and 254 are pastedowns on the inside front and back cover respectively.
Dimensions: 210 x 180 mm.
Ruling: 135 x 95 mm, 24 lines per page. Leroy 44C1.
Script: Minuscule in rounded epsilon style: Canart (1981).
Binding: Wooden boards, covered with stamped leather: possibly 14th century.
Decoration: Decorated canon tables. Much-defaced illuminated portraits of the evangelists (ff 7v, 75v, 121v, 193v) and illuminated headpieces (ff 8r, 76r, 122r, 194r). Part of the "Decorative Style Group" identified by Carr (1987-1988).

Possibly originated in Cyprus: Carr (1987-1988) p. 136, and Canart (1981).
Likely written in 1314-1315: colophon, f 253v, though this is not certain, as Carr (1987) p. 248 points out.
Owned by the Monastery of Pikryousa: note of a Turkish raid in Feb 1426, f 74r.
Inscription on f ii recto, mentioning Abercius of Galata and the Church of Hyperagia Theotokos τῶν Καυαρῶν, possibly dating from 1746: Catalogue of Additions 1900-1905, p. 276. A church of this name existed at Galata on Cyprus: Carr (1987) p. 248.
Signatures of Ioannes, hieromonk of the Καθαρὸς, on ff 153v and 245v.
Once owned by Victor Lombardo: f i recto.
Purchased from J. S. Dawes, chaplain at Corfu, 8 October 1904.
