"THE ACCOMPT of Sr George Wharton Bartt. Treasurer and Paymaster of the Office of His Mats Ordnance aswell of all moneys by him received out of his Mats, Excheqr or otherwise as of all moneys by him paid for His Mats service in the said Office," 30 June, 1679-30 June, 1680. The principal services (names of recipients, etc., being given in each case) are as follows: (a) New Ships, f. 6: (b) Tangier, ff. 12, 22b, 43, 184b, 190b, 194b; (c) Wars against the French King, ff. 16, 56 b, 74 b; (d) Allowances, wages, etc. for the Ordnance Establishment, ff. 24, 48 b, 154 b, 163 b, 173 b; (e) Land Service, ff. 31 b, 40 b, 46, 66 b, 136, 140, 147 b, 173, 182, 196; (f) Sea Service, ff. 37, 42, 47 b, 72 b, 139, 145 b, 183b, 204 b; (g) Gunmakers, f. 108 ; (h) Freights, f. 126. The various accompts are signed by Edward Sherburne, Clerk of the Ordnance, Edward Conyers, Keeper of the Stores, and Samuel Fortrey, Clerk of the Deliveries. Paper; ff. 211. 21 in. x 15 in.
