REGISTER containing copies of petitions to James Butler, 2nd Duke of Ormonde, as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, with his references, etc., May-Nov. 1711. On the Duke's recall in December following they are addressed to Sir Constantine Phipps and John Vesey, Archbishop of Tuam, Lords Justices, Jan. 1712-Oct. 1713. At the beginning is an alphabetical list of the petitioners. Paper; ff. 102. 171/2 in. x 11 1/4 in. A.D. 1711-1713. Bought by Sir T. Phillipps from Thorpe (cat. 1836, no. 664). Phillipps MS. 9740 (sale-cat. 1911, lot 773).
