Lancaster, of his coat of arms, "ore vpon a cross azure fyue phaons of the feild," and grant of a crest, "on a healme, forthe of a wreathe of his cullours, an arme sleeued azure, the drawing oute gould, the cuffe silver and the hand proper, houlding a broken phaon dart, headed ore, as are depicted in the margent, with mantles gueles, dubled argent"; 10 Sept. 1616.
