Documents, bound together in vellum, relating to property acquired by the convent of S. José by the will of Francisco de Salcedo [the friend of St. Teresa], as follows: 1. Copy, made 27 Apr. 1615, for. the convent, of Salcedo's will, dated 7 Apr. 1579, and proved on 12 Sept. 1580, the day of his death. The property bequeathed to S. José is situated at Muñosancho, La Nava, Cortos, and La Colilla [all in the province of Avila]. f. 2.
2. Agreement (with confirmation) by which Agustín de la Serna Salcedo, of Avila, and Cristóbal de la Serna Salcedo his eldest son withdraw from a suit undertaken by them against the convent touching the above property at Muñosancho; Avila, 29 Apr. 1593. ff. 16, 39.
3. Order from the licenciado Contreras de Pareja, Alcalde Mayor of Avila, to the alcaldes of Muñosancho to give possession of the above property to Vicente Dávila, on behalf of the convent of S. José; 30 Apr. 1593. Followed by a certificate of the granting of possession by Luis Rodríguez, Alcalde; Muñosancho, 4 May, 1593. f. 46.
4. Survey of lands at Muñosancho included in the above property, made by Domingo González; 19 Aug. 1615. f. 49.
5. Copy, made 8 March (?), 1669, of an agreement in settlement of a dispute between the convent of S. José and Fernando de Mogrovejo Escovar, cura of the parochial church of La Colilla; Avila, 11 May, 1632. f. 51.
