Sale to the abbot Dominicus and the monastery of St. Leucius of two pieces of land within the county of Todi [in Umbria, Italy], situated respectively at places called Cariscu and Ilcisca, for thirty solidi; 9th or l0th cent. Lat. Vellum. Imperfect. St. Leucius is said to have been Bishop of Todi at the beginning of the third century (Leônij, Cronaca dei vescovi di Todi, 1889, p. l1), and at a later date there was a religious house bearing his name in the possession of the Dominicans (Alvi, Todi, 1910, pp. 260, 292). The monastery in the MS. may possibly be identified with this, prior to its acquisition by the Dominicans. f. 1.
