3. Proceedings of British courts martial held in the Netherlands; 18 Sept. 1703-11 Apr. 1713. Among them (ff. 126-133) is that on John Sinclair, Master of Sinclair, for the death of Capt. Alexander Schaw, and a letter from Hugh Schaw (also killed by the Master in a duel) on the subject. The court-martial proceedings in this case were, printed by Sir Walter Scott (Roxburghe Club, 1828). ff. 95-155.
