"Temporibus illis inmanis persecutio." Pr. in the Bollandist Acta SS. (ed. 1863-87), 12 May p. 21. On f. 1b in a contemporary hand are names (often curiously deformed) of the Greek alphabet and numerals. Vellum; ff. iii + 8. 83 in. x 6 in. XI cent. Dering sale (Puttick and Simpson, 10 July, 1861, lot 728). Phillipps MS. 15754 (sale cat. 24 Apr. 1911, lot 797). Another mark C. 760. Presented, with 38914B, by Mrs. Emily M. Heal in memory of her husband Ambrose Heal.
