Gatherings of 6 leaves (i 7, ii 5, iii 8, xi 9, xii 7, xiv 7, most of the differences due to the insertion of miniatures). Six miniatures coarsely executed in Flemish style, illuminated initials and full borders at the beginning of sections, smaller initials in gold, red and blue. The subjects of the miniatures are :- Pentecost, f. 8 b ;- Crucifixion, f. 13 b ;-
Annunciation, f. 17 b ;- St. Elizabeth, f. 69 b ;- Last Judgement, f. 72 b;- Office of the Dead, f. 85 b. Binding of boards covered with brown leather, gilt-tooled, with medallion of the Crucifixion in the centre of each cover (16th-17th cent.). Inscription (f. 1) : " Ex libris Ioannis Bapta. de Vaddere [Jean Baptiste de Vaddère, author of Traité de l'origine des ducs et duché de Brabant, Brussels, 16721. On f. i : " Robertus Curzon dono Georgii Josephi Palmer Equitis Aurati London June 1836 " and (in pencil) " No. 52." Curzon Cat., perhaps MSS. in Latin, no. 2 (but see also 39639).
