PARHAM MS. LXVIII. " P. OVIDII Nasonis Peligni, De Arte Amandi," with copious notes to book i. Followed at f. 67 by " De Remedio Amoris " in two books (bk. ii beg. 1. 397), and at f. 90 b (initial and title blank) by Medicamina Faciei Femineae. The remaining poems, also without initials and titles, are spurious, viz. : (a) Nux (f. 93 b) with the colophon " Libellus de Nuce finit," printed in Bährens, Poetae Lat. Minores, i, p. 90 ; (b) Pulex (f. 99), now attributed to Ofilius Sergianus ; (c) " Liber de Phisonomia " (so the title in pencil, f. 100 b), i.e. De Philomela, printed in Bährens, v, p. 363. Vellum; ff. ii + 106. 6 3/4 in. x 4 5/8 in. Late XV cent. Written in Italy. Gatherings of 10 leaves (iv6), with catchwords. Pages of 18 lines. Sec. fol. " Nos uenerem." Initials (one with blinded Cupid, f. 67) and partial border (f. 1) in Renaissance style, containing arms (az., 6 estoiles or) of Azzolini. A roughly-drawn later shield on f. ii b has in base a demi-lion rampant and in chief three fleurs-de-lys. On f. ii is the note R.Curzon, Florence, 1832. Curzon Cat., MSS. in Latin, no. 14.
