PARHAM MS.LXXIV. NOTE-BOOK of classical studies compiled from the printed works of 16th and 17th century scholars. Johannes Meursius, Bernardinus Ferrarius and Nicolas Rigault provide some of the more extensive extracts, but Casaubon, Scaliger, Lipsius, Gruter and others are also represented. The latest book excerpted appears to be Isaac Vossius's edition of Justin's History, 1640. The quotation of several English parallels (ff. 119 b-121) ammong the Proverbs of Zenobius suggests an English origin for the MS. Paper ; i + 143. Quarto. After A.D. 1640. Note on f. 1 : " Robert Curzon, Feb. 19, 1846, from William Fuller his old servant, who travelled with him for 3 years, in Europe and the Levant, and remained some years afterwards with him in England." Curzon Cat., Greek Paper MSS. no. 14, p. 26 (pencil numbering 105).
