10. Life of St. Thomas of Canterbury. Printed from two Maynooth MSS. in Irisleabhar Muighe Nuadhad, 1912, p. 69. The immediate source of the life has not been identified. It begins with the legend of Becket's Saracen mother (interpolated in late MSS. of the life by Grim and printed by Robertson, Materials for the History of Thomas Becket, ii, p. 453), and gives a succinct account of the life and martyrdom. f. 112 b.

12. Life of St. Carthach or Mochuda, Bishop of Lismore, as printed by P. Power, Lives of SS. Declan and Mochuda, Irish Texts Soc., xvi, p. 74. lt is a modern translation of the Latin life as printed by C. Plummer, Vitae Sanct. Hib., i, p. 170 (cf. ib., p. xlviii). f. 124 b.
13. The Irish version of Pseudo-Bonaventura, Meditationes Vitae Christi, cf. Add. 11809, art. 1 (Cat., p. 546), and Eg. 137, art. 1 (Cat., p. 552), with which last the present copy is in general agreement. f. 137. Paper; ff. iii + 193. 8 1/2 in. x 6 3/4 in. A.D. 1807-1808. Written by Seán Ó Deoradháin at Mitchelstown, co. Cork. Art. 9 was copied from a MS. written by Eoghan Ó Caoimh. Decorative initials of the type used by the Cork scribe, Seán Ó Murchadha na Ráthíneach (cf. Cat., p. 385). Calf binding (19th cent.), blind-tooled. Not in Curzon Cat.
