15th-century letters and papers, the majority of which are relating to, Sir John Fastolf.
Some of the letters are written in the hand of William Worcester (Wyrcestre), alias Botoner (ff. 5-12, 16, 17, 21, 23, 25, 29, 30, 31, 34, 36, 40, 44, 45, 46) or in the hand of John Bokkyng (ff. 11, 18, 20, 24) or in the hand of William Barker (ff. 13, 14, 15, 39) or in the hand of Pampyng (f. 55).

'1. Original letters and papers, the majority of which are letters by or to, or documents relating to, Sir John Fastolf, a number being in the hand of William Wyrcestre, al. Botoner. All except four of these have been printed in full or in abstract by James Gairdner in his editions of the Paston Letters. The unprinted matter includes an inventory of household stuff, f. 54 ; a contemporary menu of a banquet, f. 60 ; and a valuation of Sir John Fastolf's manors in Flegg, f. 61. The second portion of a letter from Fastolf to Sir Thomas Howys has been removed and bound with the first portion in Add. MS. 27443, f. 118. f. 1.
2. " The life of Sir John Fastolf," a reprint under new pagination (1-14) of the revised and larger edition by Richard Gough (Biographia Britannica, ed. Kippis, 1793, pp. 697-710) of William Oldys' life of Fastolf (Biographia Britannica, 1753, p. 1899). On f. 63 b is an engraved portrait of Sir John Fastolf, republished in 1796 from the Oxford Almanack of 1731. Printed. f. 64.
