WARREN HASTINGS PAPERS. Vol. VI (ff. 70). Letterbook of private letters of Warren Hastings; 22 Mar. 1807- 15 Mar. 1813. Autograph copies. A list of " dates of letters written " (1807-1814) is at the beginning and end of the book. At. f. 47 are two drafts of letters in Mrs. Hastings' hand, one a letter of condolence to [Mary,] Duchess of Gloucester, on the death of her father, George III (28 Feb. 1820). Placed loosely in the same book was a smaller quire, containing (f. 49) copies of letters of 1804 and (the book reversed) notes on " Turnips" and "Oxen and cows." Quarto.
