I. 1. Fragment (3 leaves) of the Auditor's Receipt Book of the Exchequer of Receipt (see M. S. Giuseppi, A Guide to the Manuscripts preserved in the Public Record Office, i, 1923, p. 182) containing receipts under the name of Sir Francis Egioke, one of the Tellers :-(a) of tenths from dioc. Hereford, Bangor, Chichester, Coventry and Licbfield, Bristol, and Lincoln, 4 Oct. 1613-21 Mar. 1613/4 ;-
(b) from the sale of lands in various counties, 5 Nov. 1613-23 Mar.
161 3/4. Latin. Paper. The volume for Michaelmas 1613 to which these leaves belong is missing from the Public Record Office: it should follow E. 401/2420 in the class list, no. 2421 being the volume for Easter 1614. f. 31.
2. [Privy Council] Letter to Sir Paul Pindar, Sir John Wolstenholme. Sir Abraham Dawes, and Sir John Jacob, Farmers of the Customs, demanding an advance of £1614 19s. 11d. to the Earl of Denbigh for the expenses of the Wardrobe ; dat. 14 July 1636. Copy. Space for signatures left blank. f. 34.

" The Humble Petition of Abraham Jacobb, compounder for the provision of sweet wynes for allowance of dyvers sommes of money by him disbursed and payd out, for cowperadge and porteradge of wynes for the provision of his highnes most honorable howshold, and for other sommes of money due unto him by that service from the firste of April 1609 to the laste of September next following " ; with warrant for the payment of the amount due, signed by R[obert Cecil,] Earl of Salisbury and Sir Julius Caesar, dat. 7 Nov. 1609.
