A volume that successively belonged to Mr. Fowle, Lord Somers, and Mr. Umfreville; containing transcripts of petitions in parliament from 21 Edw. III. to 6 Hen. IV.; together with certain petitions of the clergy, nobility, and commons of Ireland. Mr. Umfreville has remarked that many of these petitions are attested by Laurence Halsted, deputy to Sir Algernon May, to agree with the several records from whence they are transcribed.
