Per Octavium de Strada, S. C. M. nobilem Aulicum, civem Romanum, et antiquarium." This very beautiful volume, which is dedicated to Sfortia Andrea Carretus, Prince and perpetual Vicar of the Roman Empire, is elegantly written, and ornamented with masterly drawings of the devides in pen and ink. This work, which has never been printed, would afford useful materials for a more general compilation of the kind that has long been wanted by the admirers of the heraldic science. At the end is an alphabetical list of names.
