Anquez (op. cit., p. 384) gives Beauvays' name as 'de Beauvais', and describes him as 'ministre d'Alencon'; he may therefore be identical with the 'Charles de Beauvais, pasteur d'Alencon, 1600-1626', mentioned in Haag, La France protestante, 2nd ed., i, 1877, col. 157.
