The Book of Daniel in the version found in the Peshíṭtā. The contents of the manuscript are as follows:
ff. 1v-3r : A table of contents for the lessons contained within the Psalms of Solomon as well as other Biblical books entitled ܦܘܪܫ ܩܪܝܢܐ ܕܦܠܐܬܐ ܕܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܡܫܠܟܢܘܬܐ ܕܫܒܥܝܢ. The name of each of the lessons or readings is contained within a box formed of red, green or yellow bands, arranged within a 6x4 matrix in the shape of a gate with floral spikes and geometrical bases (f. 1r); a box formed of red, green or yellow bands, arranged within a 5x4 matrix in the shape of a gate with floral spikes and geometrical bases (f. 2r); or circles formed of red, green or yellow ink arranged in a 6x4 matrix and surrounded by a border in red, green and yellow featuring geometric patterns and floral finials (ff. 1v, 2v-3r);
ff. 3v-48r : The text of the Book of Daniel including all of the apocryphal portions, such as the Song of the Three Holy Children (ܨܠܘܬܐ ܕܣܢܢܝܐ ܘܚܒܪܘܗܝ) (ff. 12r-v); Bel (ܒܝܠ) (ff. 38r-39v); the Dragon (ܬܢܝܢܐ) (ff. 39v-41v); and Susannah (ܟܬܒܐ ܕܫܘܫܢ ܛܘܒܢܝܬܐ) (ff. 41v-48r). The text is missing Daniel X.11-XI.1 and XI.40-Bel 4;
f. 48r : The colophon, which states that the work was finished on 28 Ayar 843 AG (532 CE) and that it was collated with care in the "Monastery of the Easterners" (ܕܝܪܐ ܕܡܕܢܚܝܐ). The three lines of the colophon referring to the copyist have been effaced, but several words are partially visible, including Qašíšā Núhad (?) d-Dérā (?) d-Bét…;
f. 48v : A second colophon, in a hand different from that of the scribe of the text of the manuscript, states that this was one of 250 manuscripts brought to the convent of St. Mary Deipara in 1243 AG (932 CE) by the abbat Moses of Nisibis.
Marginal notation throughout the work indicates the lessons associated with various sections, some of which have been added by later hands.
A note in the margin of f. 3r states that the list of lessons or readings on ff. 1r-3r was compiled by one Seᵓwirā, who was assisted by Qašíšā Māri Yúḥanan and Mšamšā Māri Rúmānā.
For the most part, the folios of this manuscript are in good condition, except for ff. 1 and 48, which both show signs of tears. Folios appear to be missing after ff. 1, 34 and 37.
