In addition to the main text, there is also a colophon on ff. 150v-151r, which states that the manuscript was written at the expense of the Priest Bas, the son of Mārā from the village of Kafr Sandal, for the convent of Telᶜādā when Eusebius was abbot.
On f. 151v, there is an illustration of a cross in yellow ink, surrounded by a circle with floral patterns in red, green and yellow ink. This is in turn enclosed within a border of geometrical patterns in red, green, yellow and purple ink. At the bottom of the illustration is a note that states that the image was created by a man named Aleksandrā, who might also be the scribe of the entire work.
There is also a partially obliterated note on f. 1r that makes reference to the madrāše in the Hymns of Isaac.
The manuscript features sparse marginalia and very occasional illumination, including floral patterns in silver and copper on f. 151r.
Some of the folios within the codex are stained, and a few of the them - particularly folio 1 - are torn.
