1. Beda, De Natura Rerum. Mutilated at the beginning; beg. " radicitus inherent" (ch. II., ed. Migne, Pairologia, xc. col. 190). A leaf is missing after f. 9, and ch. 48 ("Gnomonica de iisdem," Migne, col. 274) is omitted. 3.
2. "Exceptiones de Proverbiis": a collection of Biblical proverbs, chiefly from Ecelesiasticus. f. 16.
3. "Sermo de dedicatione ecelesie"; beg. "Dum ecclesia dedicatur, xii candele sunt accense interius." The title is a later addition f. 27.
4. Quaestiones, on various points of theology; beg. "Queritur quomodo Deus omnipotens dicatur." f. 32.
5. Notes on Biblical chronology; beg. "Daniel Baltasar spondenti purpura," and "Decimo die mensis Augusti concrematum est teniplum." ff. 35 b, 36.
6. Sermon on the Lord's Prayer; beg. "Pater noster, etc., Hoe nomine et caritas excitatur." f. 36 b.
7. Miscellaneous theological notes; beg. "Filius Dei assumpsit hominem." f. 39. Different sections are headed "super Ysaiam" (f. 40 b), "Gregorius" (f. 47 b), "Ambrosius" (ib.).
8. "lncipiunt Epistole de Affectibus Anime"; beg. "Incendio domus mea corruerat." Interspersed with verses. f. 57.

12. Liber Apocalipsis, of St. Jerome's version; with a few interlinear notes. f. 87. Vellum; ff. 120. Originally three separate volumes, the first (artt. 1-7) being of the end of the xiith cent., the second (artt. 8-11) of the XIIIth, and the third (art. 12) of the XIIth. The last is roughly written, in several different hands, on leaves of various sizes; at the foot of the last page is the catchword "Emula," showing that the Elegies of Maximuianus originally followed. On f. 1 b is a press-mark of the 14th-15th cent., "lxiii. al. ca.," and on f. 1 one of the 19th cent., "old no, 21." Belonged to R. Bateman [18th cent., qu. the Hon. Richard Bateman, ob. 1774], J.
