Hymnal, in Latin, with music, wanting single leaves after ff. 1 and 7.
ff. 2r-8v: Commune Hymnarii;
ff. 9r-40v: Temporale, containing among other hymns one for Christmas day at vespers, beginning 'Intende qui regis Israhel' (f. 11r);
ff. 40v-68v: Sanctorale, with the hymns 'Christum rogemus et patrem' for All Saints day (f. 60r) and 'Bellator armis inclitus Martinus' (f. 65r);
ff. 69r-80r: Commune Sanctorum;
ff. 80v-94r: Cantica, only those for the Feast of the Purification (ff. 90r-94r) are accompanied by musical notes, the first lines of which are as follows: 'Ave, gracia plena dei genetrix', 'Adorna thalamum tuum', 'Responsum accepit Symeon', 'Collegerunt pontifices', and 'Ave, Rex noster'.
A 13th-century charter has been used to restore a portion of f. 94.

Cistercian abbey of St Mary, Pairis, founded in 1138, near Orbey, Haut-Rhin, Alsace: the manuscript shares a number of melodies set to the same hymns as found in two other manuscripts associated with the abbey, Colmar, Bibliothèque municipale, MSS 286 (442) and 287 (441) (on their contents see Weimar, Hymnarium Parisiense; see also Mearns, The Canticles (1914), p. 85, and Bornert, Les Monastères (2011), V, p. 326).
