Written in Italy, perhaps (see artt. 9 and 10) in the monastery of St. Andrew in Rome, between 1370 and 1453 (see art. 2). Double columns. One gathering (ff. 18-23) is in a markedly different hand from the rest. Initials flourished in red and blue. On f. 1 b is a table of contents, from which it appears that the MS. formerly contained two additional articles at the beginning, the titles of which have been erased. On f. 1 are the press-marks (18th-l9th centt.) 173, 488, 1095. Belonged to Thomas Thorpe (no. 374 in his catalogue of 1836); and Phillipps MS. 9581. Octavo.
