LETTER-BOOK of Edward Conway, Earl of Conway, Secretary of State for the N. Department, during his tenure of the office; 8 Feb. 168 0/1- 2 Feb. 168 2/3. In the hand of his secretary, William Blathwayt, afterwards (Aug. 1683-1704) Secretary at War. Besides the letters to British Residents at the Northern courts, letters are included to James Butler, Duke of Ormonde, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland (ff. 25 b, 29 b), to William, Prince of Orange (f. 71), and some others.
