Vincent, Giles, and Denis, also Claude, Archbishop [of Besançorn] and Confessor, 6 June. f. 2;-(2) Chronological tables, for finding moveable feasts, etc. f. 14;-(3) "Passio Domini nostri Iesu Christi secundum Ioannem," followed by lessons from the four Evangelists, and by antiphons, prayers, etc., including the "Stabat mater." f 16;-(4) "Officium beatæ Mariæ virginis, secundum consuetudinem almæ ecclesiæ Bisuntinæ Hours of the Virgin, followed severally by the Hours of the Cross and of the Holy Ghost. f. 31;-(5) "Septem Psalmi pænitentiales," with Litany. f 89;-(6) "Vigiliæ mortuorum." f. 99;-(7) "Officium Conceptionis beatæ Mariæ virginis." f. 120; Loffice de nostre dame de Pitie," in French, except the Psalms. f. 125. Vellum; ff. 132. Written at Barcelona in 1535 (see above). Fullpage miniatures at the beginning of each office, executed in a style partly French, partly Flemish. Illuminated initials throughout. In the border on f. 125 b is a lozenge-shaped shield, coupé, the chief or, an eagle displayed sable, the base azure, three bezants. Bound in black leather with chased silver clasps and bosses, the clasps forming the initials BN. 7 5/8 X 4 ¾ in.
