PSALTER, with Canticles and Litany, in the later Wycliffite version. Imperfect at beginning and end, wanting also two leaves after f. 4 (Pss. 1. and li.) and one leaf after f 44 (part of Pss. lxxxviii. and lxxxix.). Begins (Ps. xlv. 1): "Oure god pou art refuyt and vertu." The Litany ends "We synful men praie pee to heere us pat pou" (breaking of at the foot of f. 114 b). Vellum; ff. 116. Early xvth cent. Headings in red, and initials in red and blue. Belonged in 1665 to Thomas Harrison, of Barmbyon-the-Marsh, in Howden, co. York, and apparently in 1664 to Robert Close, of the same place (see ff. 19 b, 20, 42 b, 105, 107 b, etc.); but many other names have been scribbled on the margins. Appendix 227 in the Ashburnham library (sale-cat. 1899, lot 156).
