With nine full-page and fourteen small miniatures; borders of flowers, grotesques, etc., on old ground, surrounding the miniatures and adjoining pages. On f. 32 is a portrait of the patron kneeling before an image of the Virgin and Child, with St. Christopher standing by him. His coat-of-arms is on f. 32 b and shows him to have been Floris van Egmond, Count of Buren, who was elected a knight of the Golden Fleece in 1505 and died in 1539 Hist. de l'ordre de la Toison d'Or, 1830, p. 271, and Van del. Aa, Biographisch Woordenboek der Nederlanden, vii. p. 60). At f. 146 b is a miniature of a lady kneeling, with a lozenge-shaped shield bearing the arms of his wife Margaret van Bergen. Bound in green velvet, with chased silver clasps and bosses, the latter having the arms of Floris van Egmond. 6 ¼ X 4 ½ in.
