"A true collection as well of all the Kinges Majesties offices and fees in any the Courtes at Westminster as of all the offices and fees of [his] Majesties honourable howshold, together with all fees pertaininge to Captaines and Souldiours haueinge charge of Bullwarkes, Castles and Fortresses within the Realme of England and likewiese the offices and fees of his highnes honourable howses, Parkes and Forrestes within the said Realme"; containing also a list of the peerage (f 3), a list of ships in the navy (f 31 b), numbers of the county musters (f. 33 b), names of persons certified as fugitives over-sea (f 34 b) and numbers of churches in every shire (f. 37 b). Without date, [1605-16071. Some of the additions occur also in Stowe MS. 574. For the title, cf. Add. 29,888, and for most part of the contents Harl. 1857, Add. 28,604, 31,825. f 3.
2. "Newe fees and pensions given by King James, 20 of his reigne in England," viz., from 20 March, 160 4/5 to 16 Oct. 1606 and still payable at the latter date, divided into "Annuitates et feoda" and "Regarda" and again as under Great Seal or Privy Seal. An inserted sheet (f. 55) includes "Guifts of redy money." f. 40.
3. "An estimate of the seuerall dyettes as the Kinges Majestic dothe nowe paie for the same, as allso yf the same were to bee boughte in the Marquett"; [1603-1604]. This is apparently the source from which Sir J. Cæsar's copy in Add. MS. 12,502 is taken. f. 57. Paper; ff. 66. Art.. 1 has a vellum cover (part of a grant of wardship of Drue Drury, afterwards 1st Bart.) and the book-plate of the lst Earl of Hardwicke. Folio.
