HARDWICKE PAPERS. Vol. DCCLXIV. Further collections by Sir Julius Cæsar on the Court of Requests, etc. Chiefly autograph. This MS. is really a part of Lansd. MS. 125, which appears in the sale-catalogue (Lansd. MS. 123) as in two volumes. It includes:-
1. "The names of such counselors [Hen. VII.-Eliz.] as have sat and judged in the Court of Whitehall, of whom so manic as are noted with an X sat likewise in the same K. and Q. time, alternis vicibus, in the Starchamber, as the proper judges of that Court likewise, as appeareth by the recordes of that Court." f. 2.
2. Another copy (not in Cæsar's band) of Add. 36,111, artt. 3 and 2. f. 4b.
3. A duplicate copy (cf. Lansd. 125, f. 9) of the table to the printed Ancient State, etc., of the Court of Requests, with MS. notes. f. 14.
4. Orderes and Rules of the Court of Requests, "found written in an olde paper booke written by Rob. Dacres, Esq., P. C. to the King Hen. VIII. and Master of Requests." f. 21. Paper; ff. 26. XVIth cent. Numbered 171 in Cæsar's library (cf. Lansd. MS. 125). Purchased at Cæsar's sale by P. C. Webb.
