Copies (a few originals, v. ff. 51, 113), in several hands of the 16th and 17th centt., of ordinances of the Saltworks at Lüneburg; in three series, relating chiefly to the hiring of workmen, etc., 1469-1608 (ff. 2-90), the fires for boiling the brine, etc., 1565-1599 (ff. 91-134), and the wood for the fires, etc., 1555- 1668 (ff. 135-232). For the whole subject cf. J. H. Jungius, De jure salinarum . . . . . necnon sylloge documentorum. . . . . pro salina Luneburgensi, Göttingen, 1743, which, however, does not contain any of the documents.
