F. Two letters (ff. 31, 35) from Harriet Martineau, dat. Ambleside, 5 Sept. 1866 and 6 Sept. 1874, and one (f. 36) from her niece Susan Martineau, dat. Edgbaston, 29 June 1876, announcing her aunt's death. The first and last letters are addressed to Mrs. Jones, the second to Caroline, Harriet Martineau's faithful servant and niece of Mrs. Jones.
