N. 1. Diary of Thomas Law Hodges, Captain in the West Kent Militia, when on duty in the South of Ireland during the Rebellion. He saw no fighting, and the diary is chiefly of social interest. Extreme dates are : Liverpool, 13 Sept. 1798, and Wells, 2 July 1799, with loss of 25 Mar.-30 Apr. f. 68.
