M. Letters of the Sidney family, bearing chiefly on a proposed marriage between Dorothy (afterwards Countess of Sunderland), eldest daughter of Robert Sidney, 2nd Earl of Leicester, and Lord Lovelace. These originals, annotated and occasionally altered, were sent to press by Arthur Collins for his Letters and Memorials of State, 2 vols., 1746. As follows:-(1) [Henry Danvers, Earl of] Danby to [Dorothy Sidney, Countess of Leicester] ; Cornbury Park, 27 Mar. [1637]. Endorsed by Collins with a detailed note on Danby.
