BLIGH PAPERS. Vol. XIX (ff. 273). Private letters, mainly addressed to J. D. Bligh; 16 July 1817-9 Sept. 1854, a few undated letters at the end. The majority are from his father, [John Bligh, 4th Earl of] D[arnle]y, and his mother, E[lizabeth, Countess of] D[arnley]. Among other correspondents are his brother, [Edward, Lord] Clifton [5th Earl of Darnley 1831]; his sisters- Lady Mary and Lady Elizabeth Bligh, and his daughter, "Lilla" [Elizabeth Mary Bligh]. Two letters addressed to Bligh's first wife, Elizabeth Mary Bligh, née Gisborne, from her brothers, T[homas] G[uy] Gisborne and J[ohn] B[owdler] Gisborne, are at ff. 263, 272. Folio.
