G. Vellum leaf (late 13th century) containing 11. 2776-2884 of the Chanson de Roland. The text belongs to the later recensions, the sections being in rhyme and each rounded off with a verse of three feet; its affinities lie with MS. R. 3.32 of Trinity College, Cambridge, collated as T by E. Stengel, Das altfranzösische Rolandslied, 1900, but with considerable expansions. Beg. "Et Oliuier et tuit li xii. per," and ends "As braz le tienent, sel metent sor lor piz." Double columns of 40 lines. Original size apparently 12¼ in. x 8.7/8 in. Taken from the binding of Scotus super 4^to, Sententiarum, Venice, 1497, originally belonging to the Chapel of St. George at Windsor (press-mark C.1.14). f. 26. Presented by A. Ehrman, Esq.
