A scroll containing an inscription in Manchu characters, very elegantly executed. The Manchu reads: Ejen han de doro bifi boo tome sebjilembi (ᡝᠵᡝᠨ ᡥᠠᠨ ᡩᡝ ᡩᠣᠷᠣ ᠪᡞᡶᡞ ᠪᠣᠣ ᡨᠣᠮᡝ ᠰᡝᠪᠵᡞᠯᡝᠮᠪᡞ), 'When the Dao is with the Emperor, all the families rejoice'. Chinese characters at the bottom left, possibly personal names, appear also on seal stamps on the scroll: Yizun (彝尊) and Qinglian (慶璉).
