Rutland, and author of some works on theology, etc. [b. 1611, d. 1690]. The volume is in three parts., viz.: 1. Extracts from the works of Will. Martyn of Exeter, Camden, and Speed, f. 3.
2. Extracts from Ben Jonson, James Shirley, Webster, Shakspeare, Fletcher, Davenant, Massinger, Beaumont, and Henry Shirley, and from Fuller's "Holy War," f. 69. With index, f. 111.
3. Extracts from Anthony Stafford's "Niobe," f. 117. The work of latest date used is Fuller's "Holy War," published in 1639-1640. On f. 1 is the signature of James Wright, the writer's son, and also the book-plate of the arms of "William Bromley of Baginton in the county of Warwick, Esqr. 1703." Paper; XVIIth cent. Quarto.
