At f. 8 is inserted a bull of Pope Alexander [IV.] concerning controversies between Roger [Forde], Abbat of Glastonbury, and Walter de Calne, prior, and the monks of the same; [circa 1254-1259]. Lat. At the beginning are inserted a description of the volume by Sir Francis Palgrave; Sept. 1827, f. 1; an original letter from [Dr.] Thomas Tanner [afterwards Bishop of St. Asaph] to [Osmund Beauvoir]; Norwich, 10 July, 1722, f. 3; and a detailed table of contents by O[smund] B[eauvoir], 1771, f. 4. Vellum; XIVth cent. On ff. 8, 126 b is the name of William Fox, of Glastonbury, as owner, circa 1539. Folio.
