1. COPIES of correspondence of Major-General Rainsford with Lord Amherst and others ; 1781, 1782. The letters of General Rainsford are written from Flanders, Germany, and Italy, f. 1. At f. 113 is a satirical poem, in General Rainsford's hand, called "The Wise Heads or the Relief of St. Phillip's Castle," and at f. 115 b a translation from a French almanac of the "Commandomons des Ancieins Philosophes àleurs Disciples." 2. Account of the siege of Algiers in 1784, translated from the French diary of one of the besieged, f. 120 b.
