Camb., compiled by Sir Richard St. George, Clarenceux King of Arms, to 1629. Additional entries in other hands include:-(1) List of quarterings of a large coloured achievement of St. George arms (f. i) by Sir Thomas St. George, Garter King of Arms 1686-1703 (cf. a letter by him, Add. MS. 28882, f. 131), and details of his family in 1652. ff. 1, 3, 11b;-(2) Verse by Thomas St. George, d. 1637 (see Add. 43182 above) on Hatley St. George as the home of the St. George family (f. 21), and two verses in his hand addressed to Sir Richard St. George (f. 32b), one of which he attributes to John Philipot (Somerset Herald 1624; d. 1645), the other bearing his own signature; n.d. ff. 21, 32b;-(3) Pedigree of the St. John family (into which Sir Richard St. George married, 1575) possibly by a clerk of Sir Henry St. George, the younger, Garter, to 1682. ff. 30b-31.
