State Papers Dom., 1625-1626, pp. 232-233, 239. ff. 1-3b;-(2) 'A brief out of the Rytes of the coronation called the Liber Regalis': the order of coronation of Charles I (2 Feb. 1626); 17th cent. Printed from a MS. in St. John's College, Cambridge, by C. Wordsworth, The Manner of the Coronation of Charles I, Henry Bradshaw Soc., 1892; and from Harley MS. 5222 by L. G. Wickham Legg, English Coronation Records, 1901, pp. 246-271. The present version is closer to that published (1660) by W. Prynne, The Signal Loyalty and Devotion of God's true Saints and Pious Christians towards their Kings, part ii, pp. 263-302 (reprinted by Wordsworth, op. cit., App. vi, pp. 107-137), but differs substantially in order. Prayers, etc., given in English only, with Latin openings: the service for the Queen given separately (ff. 20-23). For other editions, etc., see P. E. Brown leather binding with remains of metal clasps gilt-tooled with the initials-'P.H.' on the front and back covers.
