EGMONT PAPERS. Vol. CCXCII (ff. iii +40). Egmont MS. 248. Book of prayers mostly in the hand of Margaretta Elizabeth, Lady Arden (d. 1851). The majority are by her brother-in-law, the Hon. Spencer Perceval, Prime Minister (d. 1812), but the last prayer (f. 40), copied 31 Aug. 1834, is by his sister Elizabeth. Included at ff. 38-39 is a prayer in a different hand, dated 15 Oct. 1827 and signed 'F.S.T.', probably by Lady Arden's son-in-law, the Rev. Frederic Steuart Trench.
