CORRESPONDENCE AND PAPERS OF THE LA BELINAYE FAMILY, particularly Charles René, Vicomte de la Belinaye, also Marquis de la Dobiaye (b. 1735, d. 1821), Maréchal de camp of Louis XVIII, and his son Armand Marie, Marquis de la Belinaye, both of whom emigrated to England at the French Revolution; 1702-1938, n.d. Mostly French. Supplementary to Add. MSS. 35651, f. 285, and 37871, ff. 111, 112. For a pedigree of the family, with details of the seigneuries held by them between or near Rennes and Fougères, dépt. At f. 77 is a letter from the Marquis de la Belinaye to his son Henry at the school for emigrés at Penn, co. Bucks.; 21 Feb. 1811 (cf. Add. MS. 45723). At f. 107 is a letter from Arthur Thomas Quiller-Couch (knt. 1910), mentioning his publication of a narrative by Thomas Lance concerning the assassination of Spencer Perceval in 1812 (included at ff. 102-105) in The Pall Mall Magazine, xv, 1898, pp. 430-432.
