(1) 'When the dawn at early morning' for male voices and piano, setting of words from Helen Waddell's Mediaeval Latin Lyrics; [1931]. Incomplete draft. Originally intended to form part of op. 53. I. Holst, no. 186A. ff. 1b-3;-(2) 'How beautiful are thy feet' for alto and piano, from Holst's unfinished incidental music for a Hollywood pageant on 'The Song of Solomon'; [1933-1934]. I. Holst, App. II, 17. ff. 5-7b;-
(3) Gavotte and Trio (ff. 8b-9) intended for the Brook Green Suite, 1933, and included in the first informal performance in March 1934, but subsequently withdrawn. With a sketch (f. 9b) called 'Jig II' for the third movement, Dance, of the Brook Green Suite (I. Holst, no. 190). The Gavotte and Trio (I. Holst, no. 190A) were published in an arrangement for recorders, ed. I. Holst, by Boosey & Hawkes, 1955. ff. 8-9b.
