The papyrus, known as the ‘Harris Homer’, contains nearly the entire book XVIII of the Iliad; 12 columns are preserved, 5 in Papyrus 107 (1), the fifth only having the beginning of the lines, and 7 in Papyrus 107 (2). Of the lines omitted by the original scribe, vv. 200, 201, 381, 427 and 441 were not supplied by the corrector.

Two portions of a dark papyrus roll, written on one side along the fibres and preserving 12 columns, one of which only has the beginning of the lines; each column has between 41-45 lines, with one column of 49 lines; with protokollon (first sheet of the roll) of 50 mm and agraphon (blank space) of 180 mm; with corrections and additions by a later hand; housed in two glass frames, the second being mounted on glassine.

Script: Slender upright uncial; a different hand made corrections, supplied lines originally omitted and diacritical marks.
