Marcus Sempronius Gemellus, a soldier of the Legio III Cyrenaica, acknowledges that he has received 1240 drachmas with interest from Miccalus, son of Ptolemaeus, as repayment of a loan contracted at Alexandria. No further claims shall be laid against Miccalus. With date, subscriptions of Gemellus and Miccalus and registration docket at the registration office of Karanis at the end.

Papyrus sheet, complete, with a few wormholes throughout. The text runs along the fibres on one side and is complete; it consists of one column with 27 lines. The back is blank. All margins are extant, the right being irregular and minimal. The upper and lower margins measure 28 and x 50 respectively. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Dimensions: 240 x 172 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 295 x 220 mm.
Script: Small, proficient upright cursive hand, somewhat irregular; second hand from line 20 for the subscription of Gemellus, more cursive, irregular and rough; third hand in line 26 and beginning of line 27, with subscription of Miccalus, rough, uneven and irregular cursive of bigger size.
