Lease of 4.5 aruras of vineyard located near Karanis for a period of three years, the lessees being Sambas and Neon and the lessors Chaeremon, Horion and Socrates, sons of Chaeremon. The lessees will pay two-thirds of the produce to the lessors, and undertake to perform all work related to the vineyard, including labour, irrigation, and the appropriate pruning.

Papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom and lacking the right-hand edge; damaged by few holes and occasionally abraded. Writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. The text consists of one column, with portions of 35 lines. Left and upper margins are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.
