Three certificates for the requisite five-day work (penthemeros) on the dykes, all of the same date, in the same hand, and signed by Dionysius.
Upper papyrus (P.Lond. II 165a, TM 11633): Certificate issued to Paous, of Soknopaiou Nesos, for the five-day work he performed on the dykes. With the signature of Dionysus at the end.
Mid papyrus (P.Lond. II 165b, TM 11634): Certificate issued to Stotoetis, of Soknopaiou Nesos, for the five-day work he performed on the dykes. With the signature of Dionysus at the end.
Lower papyrus (P.Lond. II 165c, TM 11635): Certificate issued to Papais, of Soknopaiou Nesos, for the five-day work he performed on the dykes. With the signature of Dionysus at the end.

Three papyrus sheets, mounted on cardboard in one glass case.
Upper papyrus (A): Complete, although slightly damaged to the left; the text runs along the fibres on one side and the back is blank; there are four complete lines. All margins are extant.
Mid papyrus (B): Complete, with slight damage along the upper and lower edges, and abraded in places. The text runs along the fibres on one side and consists of 4 complete lines. All margins are extant. The back is blank.
Lower papyrus (C): Complete, with slight damage throughout and lacking a strip of horizontal fibres at the bottom. The text runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank; there are 4 complete lines. All margins are extant.

Script: A-C: Rapid, uneven cursive hand of small size; for the subscription in line 4 of each papyrus, large and rough hand with upright letters, mostly detached.
