A woman named Aurelia Ataris, daughter of a veteran and landholder in Hermopolis, petitions Flavius Abinnaeus reporting that, when she demanded repayment of a debt that a certain Poleion owed her, he shut her in his house and, with the assistance of the son of a village policeman and his sister, beat her to death. She now requests that the men be apprehended and sent to the dux.
