Copy of a loan contract registered in the registration office (grapheion) of Soknopaiou Nesos, whereby Panephrummis, son of Herieus, with the agreement of his wife, borrows 64 drachmas and 4 obols with interest from Stotoetis, son of Tesenouphis. The loan is to be repaid in twelve months and is secured upon the seventh part of a house with courtyard in Soknopaiou Nesos. Another Panephrummis, son of Papais, wrote on behalf of the borrowers as they were illiterate.

Papyrus sheet, dark-brown in the left half; complete, although damaged by holes, located especially along the horizontal folding lines. Writing is on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The text consists of one column with 23 lines; all margins are extant, with no blank space at the right. The lower margin measures 75 mm. The surface is abraded in places. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.
